K-Meleon browser
Trying out the K-Meleon browser as version 1.0 has come out. It's like a stripped down version of Firefox, and there are some things that I get annoyed about (like how to set the shortcut key to go to the address bar--can't figure it out), but the main thing is that it seems faster (maybe 20%?).

To change the shortcut, edit the file accel.cfg in the profile directory.
Find the line saying
VK_F6 = ID_SELECT_URL
If you for instance want the shortcut to be ctrl-L, change the line to
CTRL L = ID_SELECT_URL
Or you could add that line in addition to the original, so you can use either F6 or ctrl-L.
